burn what?

just booted up, and i've been storing all my .iso's on a 160GB WD drive, which is the slave on the primary channel. all of a sudden, my system is telling me "drive f: is not formatted, do you want to format it now?" it still has the same drive letter and reads the correct size, it just does not see a file system type. has this happeded to anyone? can i recover my movies? had about 20 iso's on there so far!
