help, can not click on any links

I am having problems clicking on any links... I am using windows 98SE..
I did not have this problem before.. I can not click on any links in my email program or in IE... I have to copy and paste them , or if it is a link that says click here or anything to that affect it does not work at all...
I had Norten AV. 2003 installed but had nothing but problems with it so I uninstalled it, I don't know if that had anything to do with it or not..
can someone help.

Hmmm and this has what to do with CDRW hardware? I guess I'll move this to the OS forum as it seems the most appropriate.

Your problem is not related to CD-RW Drive, but MS Internet Explorer.
You need to repair internet explorer. One way to do this is to go to Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Information. Then select the Tools tab and IE Repair Tool.
Who says IE is not an integral part of Windows...Grrr ? Anyway, this will work. Good Luck!
