Right then, I'm pretty new to this DVD burning lark, but heres my problem:
I'm using NERO 6 to put my avi's on to DVD (none of this VCD or SVCD rubbish, my DVD Player is a bit cack!). The start of the film is fine but by the end the audio is raaayyt out of sync with the video, which is a tad annoying to say the least. Should I convert the files to mpegs first? am I using the right DVD's ( I'm using DVD+R's)?
Also, is there a way of burning a DVD without having to transcode a menu? It seems to take up a hell of a lot of time when burning and most of the time I don't really care about them.
Can you help? I do so hope so!

Cheers

Nero is converting your AVI to dvd complian MPEG2 files, thats why it takes a long time. Audio sync problems using Nero is a common problem. Solution is to stop using it, the output quality is poor anyway. Have a read in the Tutorial section on how to convert your avi to dvdr retaining the avi's original quality.
