hello guys, what about avi to dvd???

hello to all of you guys, it has been long since i last posted here, but i was looking around for some help and came here because i know you guys can help me, i have a The Lord of The Rings movie which is on .avi, i want to be able to watch it on my stand alone dvd, i have tried nero, but i does not work, it changes the aspect ratio, also sound goes on before the video, i have tried, tmpgenc but i have not been able to find out what to do with the files it generates, and have tried many others
but here is the question, what is the fastest or the better way to do it??? can anyone help ???

I guess you wanna make a (s)vcd--Go and read a chickenm. tutor. with avi2svcd-using cce---i did few movies like that--quality is excelent--very easy too!!!

DVD2SVCD also does DVD

Check out the tutes there are plenty

There's a link their at the top of the list for DIVX to DVD+R Etc

AVI movies are usually DIVX encoded with the file tag .avi

follow the tutorials to the WORD

i did it, i followed the instruction an everything is great, i am working now on a sync problem but chickenman told me how to fix it thans again guys
