I have a SB Live D800 Sound card. Out of the box things worked fine until all of a sudden I'm getting heavy static from my digital out put. I don't know what woud have caused it but i reinstalled drivers and all ad still can't figure it out plz help me asap thank you
It can be either a bad cable connector, or a CPU which is not properly shielded.
Try to hook another pair of speakers, or another digital cable and see if you STILL have that noise.
