One of the concerns I had about DVDStripper was swapping hard drives on an IDE controller in a PCI slot. Well, whatever the hardware checksum does, it doesn't appear to look at these drives. Woohoo!!!
Another option for swapping drives without triggering the copy protection would be USB drive enclosures.
Don't know if this will help other folks but it's incredibly good news to me. I'm on the road 2-3 weeks per month and frequently take my A/V editing box. Knowing I won't have to shut down/strip drives any time I'd like to use DVDStripper is wonderful news.
