Hang ups

My problems burning DVDs with Sonic MyDVD is on hold . I'm taking frames from my old videos and making slideshows . MyDVD and ShowBiz do this great , but as usual there's a problem . I burn the disc and it plays great , the audio is aligned and great transitions installed . On PC it is faultless , just as I'd hoped , but on the standalone DVD player I get occasional hangups , not always at the same place either . The picture or transition just goes on hold for a few seconds , the image hangs perfectly but the audio stops , then the show just restarts .
I thought I was a winner with these projects but I still need you guys to lean on . Hope you can help me out again .

I'd suggest you look at the Media your burning to and try something different. Pacture or audio glitches during plauback are almost always media & player incompatability. Expensive to change your player (well relatively !) so try different media.

Thanks for that CM . I'm on my way to try other media , I tried two brands Verbatim DVD-RW and imation DVD-RW and they were both guilty . I did'nt see a definition for ses files/folders in the glossary . Are they linked to VOB files ? jabaarli

Could be more of an issue with RW's also. Try a DVD-R instead.

You should have 2 folders on your DVD, a VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folder. Both in UPPER case, the audio one emply and the Video one containing ONLY bup, ifo and vob files. Must not contain anything else.
