green frames on dvdlab

ChickenMan - as you are under the impression that dvdlab is so great, perhaps you might be able to help me (I too think it's great and haven't had any major problems with it until now) - I have an svcd .mpgs, i added the first .mpg as an asset into dvdlab, it gave me the usual demux reminder which I did, then I ran the audio transcode to alter it to 48khz. Now, when I add the .mpv file to my MOVIE 1, instead of a picture I get just several green squares in the timeline and an error message. (See attached picture) I made a copy of both files and tried using mpeg-vcr to scan the files and fix the gops to see if that would help but it's still the same. Can you help? I have all the usual tools from your great tuts so whatever you suggest I'll be able to do. Am I right in saying that I do not have to use ISOBUSTER on the 2 mpg files before loading them into dvdlab? This does it all for you, right? Look forward to reading your post. Thanks, vcd_pat.

From the pic you posted, your SVCD has infact a VCD size. Is it a VCD thats been authored/burnt as a SVCD ? If its actually a VCD, then you MUST convert the DAT file to a proper MPG file with IsoBuster/VCDGear or whatever. I would also recommend doing that with true SVCD's.
