Good DV Sites?

I am looking for some good digital video (DV) sites with tutorials, guides and things like that. And if there could be a good forum for DV (I use miniDV) it could be great.
I have found sites but they are in other languages, but I am not sure about a good english site.

Thanks a lot for both answers.
You know ChickenMan: I have been trying to pass AVIs DV to DiVX using the Vidomi encoder, but its a pity that it cannot take this kind of avis. You that are an expert in these things maybe know of another good method of passing AVI DVs to DiVX with good quality and using all the advantages of the DiVX format in file size? Or maybe making Vidomi work with these kind of avis? I can open them perfectly with TMPGEnc.
VirtualDub gave me problems but I installed a freeware DV codec from Matroz and now I can open my avis there. But Vidomi cannot take them, it crash
Maybe using a program like Avisynth? I donæt know, I am not so experienced in DV yet. What do you think?

Just for the record, DivX stuff is not my strong point.

If TMPGEnc can open the DV files okay, then why not use it to make your AVI's then. Under File, select Output to File and select AVI file. Then set Codec, bitrate and Audio & bitrate. I have only played with this on small files and it seams to work.

Yes, it looks like it can be done like this, but I don't get the VBR 2 pass that I get with Vidomi its only one pass. BTW, what codec can work better for avi DV footages in your opinion DiVX low motion or fast motion?

1 pass, 2 pass, yes your probably right there. DivX Low Motion would be the best for you.
