SCAN-ENGINE NEWS
(*) fixed a nasty bug with upx detection - works now on NT and XP

(+++) Added Raw-Scan for UPX packed files (to detect virus infections before unpacking).
You can now save the Custom Scan path.
Go to preferences, pick a Custom Scan path (for instance C:\My Downloads) and click on "Set Path".
After this, GAV remembers this path at each startup.
And if you make Custom system Scan, it only scans your saved path including subdirectories.
You can change that anytime.
To take care of the Scan Types (File extensions) the Custom Scan uses the user defined scan types if you switch this on.
But you can also make a Custom Scan with default extensions - just switch to recommended (Comprehensive file scanning) mode - this will scan in your folder with the default extensions.
