geforce replacement fans hlp req in u.k

i have an old creative geforce 2 gts and it needs a new fan what sort would fit it what are they called ie brand price where are they sold anyone in the u.k
how do you get the old one off all of it the fan itself screws out but not the rest of its housing it wouldnt be so bad if i could just get the same fan

Hi well you can try Creative on 0118 9344744 this used to B their contact number.
You should B able to remove the fan from the main board, if so take it along to
to a computer fair or such or check out someone like RS electronics, Maplins, Radio Sack, Simply computers.Youll find the many laptop fans.WILL DO the job for you.. The fan's are not dear but if you can get it from Creative your likely to pay more.

i had geforce 3 with same sort of problem i contacted makers and got not nothing back from them have seen circle fan for graphics cards

cheapest place i found was maplin

but i did a monster bodge since need pc working so found a case fan and super glued it on

not pretty but it works

i have na old fan from a 486 intel its about the same size to but how do you get off the old fan completely as part of the base is connected to the graphics card gpu

You might end up needing a replacement Heatsink from one of the "overclocking store" type places - though I believe there are about 3 possible mounting hole alignments.
