geforce fx5600

i bought a gf-fx5600 about 2 month's ago, and to be honest it's no better than my old standard gf 3, i updated drivers and bios and halo is still unplayable, am i missing something.
my pc is: amd xp1700, agpx4 motherboard, 266fsb 512 memory.
even tried it in my mates pc:xp2000 agpx8 motherboard, 333fsb 256 memory, baybe it's just crap, i can't decide.

Check for a Halo update,lots of people have problems playing it,even on fast systems...Your card isn't bad,it's a midrange performance card...

PS:Every Nvidia driver version higher than 44.03,drops my 3d benchmark 2001 se results with +/- 1000 points(GF 4TI4200)......
