Does any know if a Game Cube Program can be backed up using a backup program like CloneCD ?????

there is stuff out there stating that the japs have made a device that you can play backups using normal cdrs using a serial link to the cube but logic tells me this is no longer needed as 3 inch cds are avail on the public market now anyhow !!! x-box has been cracked so i should say cube has with out a doubt !
