FX5200 PCI wont work

hello
friend brought new Nvidia Geforce FX5200 and we tryied 2 install yesterday i installed into free PCI slot loaded drivers for it den disabled the onboard graphics driver then uninstalled it then restrted it then checked HDD C for errors then load past the bit were the green bar moves across then screen running on the PCI graphics card but then it turns of and no signal is recived through either vga slot connetor and nothing come up on scren HELP

Put it at the first PCI slot.
Enter BIOS and get sure that "PnP OS" and "Reset configuration data" are both enabled.
If still no luck, then remove the card, re-enable the onboard VGA, remove the nvidia drivers, and start again, this time without the nvidia drivers, which you can install later.
Also, when installing your video drivers it's wise to have your antivirus and firewall disabled.
