Fuel Prices !!!

:D
Hi guys and all the rest of you out there..

READ THIS....

Join the resistance!!!!

I hear we are going to hit close to 90p a litre by mid summer.

Want petrol prices to come down? We need to take some intelligent, united action.
A certain person, offered this good idea:
This makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the "don't buy petrol on a certain day"campaign that was going around last April or May! The oil companies just laughed at that because they knew we wouldn't continue to "hurt"ourselves by refusing to buy petrol. It was more of an inconvenience to us than it was a problem for them. BUT here is a plan that can really work. Please read it and join with us!
By now you're probably thinking petrol priced at about 77p a litre is super cheap. Me too! It is currently 79p - 83p for regular unleaded in some towns.
Now that the oil companies and the OPEC nations have conditioned us to think that the cost of a litre is CHEAP at 77p -80p, we need to take aggressive action to teach them that BUYERS control the marketplace....not sellers.
With the price of petrol going up more each day, we consumers need to take action. The only way we are going to see the price of petrol come down is if we hit someone in the pocket by not purchasing their Petrol! And we can do that WITHOUT hurting ourselves.

How?

Since we all rely on our cars, we can't just stop buying petrol. But we CAN have an impact on petrol prices if we all act together to force a price war. Here's the idea: For the rest of this year, DON"T purchase ANY petrol from the two biggest oil companies (which now are one), ESSO and BP. If they are not selling any petrol, they will be inclined to reduce their prices. If they reduce their prices, the other companies will have to follow suit. But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of Esso and BP petrol buyers. It's really simple to do!! Now,don't whimp out on me at this point...keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!!
I am sending this note to about thirty people. If each of you send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300)... and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000) ... and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth generation of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers! If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted! If it goes
one level further, you guessed it..... THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE!!!
Acting together we can make a difference.
PLEASE HOLD OUT UNTIL THEY LOWER THEIR PRICES TO THE 60p a LITRE RANGE AND KEEP THEM DOWN. THIS CAN REALLY WORK.

And you know he's right too...

OK I laughed at what pokopiko said but you can't argue against the logic can you. :D

god, it really scares me when i agree with pokopiko on political issues! :D

keep in mind that bush and cheney (who in some ways has more influence) were/are both major executives in the oil industry. they also profit when the prices go up. and yes, blair is probably just a puppet in this game. it is all controlled by the 'seven sisters' (the 'magnificent seven' poko refers to).

the us senate just concluded a study of high oil prices last summer and determined that the american oil companies conspired to keep prices as high as possible. unfortunately, nothing will ever come of it and we will get absolutely no relief.

the day after the supreme court 'appointed' bush (i live in florida and this was no election) the tech stocks took a nosedive and pharmaceuticals and oil had their greatest gains ever.

We have the same problem here in Germany.
A litre of unleaded super petrol costs about 1,1 euros (nearly the same in US-$).

Where do they think will the prices go in the future?

I was going to suggest you can all come to Australia for your petrol as we only pay about 90c ( 30p or 45c US) per litre here for 92 octane unleaded.

Auto LPG is about 40c/l on average but varies from 32c to 45c. Diesel is about 85c/l.

Shell is a lot bigger here than Esso or BP but a lot of the Independant's get their supplies direct from Singapore. That keeps the big guys honest.

1.motorbikes etc ...
2. € to $
3. Fuel prices

I have also got a motorbike ... Honda 1000ccm 95 PS ... hmm .. but I´m still alive ... it just depends on the driver ..I don´t want to say "oh I am soooo good .." just want to say that some people think that they r world championship competitors or something like that ...but they r the first who r dead ;)
hmm..
little additon to the nice SKUNCK....manufacturers of motorbikes don´t use as good motors than car manufacturers do.. my motorbike needs more fuel than my car...--> car is about 7 years old 1400kgs and 113PS ...motorbike is new ;)

btw.. 1€ is about 0,88 $...

Not only the big companies r guilty ... government is also guilty in commiting a "crime" to car owners ...
In austria they collect about 40% taxes on fuel ... I´m not sure about the exact percentage... could be some more or less ...

Maybe I'm stupid, but can you PLEASE name me some of the "other ways?".
I know you have not voted for Bush+Co., but these guys are way more than impotent/useless... even the worst presidents in US history (cannot name them , they are way too many...) are GODS compared to the great, appointed moron.
at least cheney is respected by many for his intellect, which is more than bush will ever be. they are both crooks out for their own good.
