ftp client???

why should i use an ftp client for downloads mp3??. I use IE for this task...................advantages of the ftp clients please.

Well, if you only want to download from FTPs (means you have no own homepage) I recommend to use a DL-manager capable of FTP-Browsing, because it can split downloads for faster download. (Or is anybody aware of a real FTP-client capable of diong that?) Best one is ReGet DX, Flashget, no. 1 in this forum doesn't work with all FTP links I got here in the forum.

For uploading, you can really use IE, no need for faster transfer (only if you have a VERY,VERY,VERY,VERY... BIG homepage;) )
