Could anyone please tell me how to access the various
folders on many of the FTP sites.Most of the time when
I try to open directories especially the ones with "dots(.)",
" ~ " and com1 etc. I get errors like :-
"System cannot find specified folder"
"Illegal command"(or something to that effect)
but sometimes if I put the full path in the browser
it seems to open the folder but then I get errors
while trying to download the files.
Also do tell me how is it that most of you get to the
files so easily and are gleefully downloading all the
time while others (me,for one) are reduced to tears
with all the "please try again",system cannot find
specified folder" messages!
