Hi, a mate has given me a stack of AVI files to convert to MPEG but the fps is 15. I am wanting to use TMPGEnc to convert them. What should i do with these strange files ?

Personly I would through them in the bin as nothing your going to be able to do to eliminate the final jerky picture.
But if you wish to perservere, encode to NTSC 29.97fps format (15 is 1/2 of 29.97) for best results but expect a jerky pic what ever you do. Turn the GOP settings up to 1 10 3 can help a bit (instead of default 1 5 2).

Thanks mate, i may give it a miss, no point spending all this time when the results are going to be sub-standard.
