For T.A.O. Chicken Man

Its actually nowt to do with DVD, just thought this was the best place to get your advice, mate :-

Thing is, i have found a number of amateur movie stuff of Genesis in the Peter Gabriel era, all different types - namely .avi, .mov, .mpg and would like to put ALL of them on the same blank CD so it could play on my DVD downstairs (and copy a couple for mates also early Genesis fans) only I have noticed that my DVD downstairs, after recording a few Simpsons in this manner, it plays the large sized downloads OK but others, labelled .avi and a lot smaller - not at all. Is there a way to do them so they ALL play OK insequence ? Cheers (got another couple downloading at the moment making me drool at the prospect - Suppers Ready (25 minute classic) and Cinema Show....drooool.....:D

simple answer phil they all have to be mpeg or mpeg 2 for svcd then burnt to vcd you can have multiple mpegs on 1 cd i have 4 simpsons on 1 vcd just convert the formats to mpeg compliant files and add as you would do with a multi session disk but create a vcd keep adding until the disk is almost full leaving a little space to close the disk and burn as a vcd closing the disk :)

job done :)

follow chickys tutes for avi to mpeg conversion :)

btw some players can play plain MPEG files mine can :) so u can test with a cdrw if this is the case that you have made a working mpeg :)

Gotcha. I shall now search out chickey's aforementioned tutes.....') Oh - Ta by the way (my manners....tut tut..:D)
