This is a program that basically can transform a collection of pictures into a VCD or SVCD format playable in some Home DVD players. I have downloaded the trial version and I am currently testing it. If anybody around has the full version I want to share experience with it. In addition any other ideas on how to do the same thing with another program are wellcome. I know already Adobe premiere but I think it is too much. TMPGE cannot do a collection. Thanks in advance.

Suggest you try the Search button at the top, you might be surprise at what you find.
Also, Nero can make a slide show by simply making a VCD but drag all your BMP, JPG, GIF, TIFF, etc pics in instead of MPG's. Will then play on most DVD players but I believe you are limited to 98 pics max per CD.

My fellow Chickenman I have already used Nero 5.5.9.0 but believe me is not good for pictures. First the choices you have for titles and menu are not as rich as expected and second and more important cannot hadle pictures of large size (at least on my computer). According to my poor opinion this is a nice add on Nero programm but it is not the one to make something professional looking. TMPGe cannot work with multiple files so it can only transform one file (one picture ) at a time. Probably you never heard about FlyVCD h**p¨://w*w.iomation.com which only does one thing. It makes SVCD or VCD from pictures collection with music and other adds on. In general I prefer software that does one thing but it does it well. Any way again if anybody around has experience using the full version, his input will be more than wellcome.
Yes I'm fully aware of FlyVCD but rearly ever use it. Since you quoted you have tried Premier and Tmpgenc, I mearly offered another alternative since you had made no mention of trying it. Nero can be useful for many people in making slideshows.

FlyVCD version 2.2 guys is very buggy. Maybe because is still under development. At least on my computer frequently gives internal errors. The new version 2.5 looks more smooth. This is the reason I am asking if somebody has the full one because I am considering to register after all. I just want to know if it is worth it.

nice little program but 2.2 is so buggy .
For version 2.5 there is no crack(yet).So i decide to fing something else....and I find it and make
perfect slideshow with music with Roxio videopack5 !!!
