hi, just wondering, I try playing a burned movie in my dvd player that is not in my computer, and the screen just keeps jumping and looks like a movie at the theatres when it is out of sink. The screen flickers, and i get sound and picture, but plays no problem in my computers dvd player.

Just wondering if anyone has a suggestion how to correct this.
My dvd player is a Pioneer complete with surround sound

well i have tried two movies that is *** and ****
they both do the same. those were downloaded and tried.

but i have made one from butterfly effect and that one was from original and it works in the dvd player.

can some one help. I don't know if there is a way to change the files so they will play in my dvd player?
thanks

Sounds like NTSC playing on PAL equipment or the other way around. So what is your equipment capable of playing?

Also a bit more info on what form your movies are in, be it AVI, MPEG, DVD, etc. might help as well :D

i would go with chickenman on this one and before compiliation to dvd convert the files you have from NTSC to PAL or PAL to NTSC depending on your location in the world and what format your TV and DVD player play back in Then reburn the DVD ......or if the DVD PLAYER is switchable NTSC > PAL or PAL > NTSC try changing modes and see if that helps ..although your TV must also be capable of changing modes too via a SCART/PERITAL connector :)
