but in the control panel it says html is enabled for signatures
so it should work like this:
--- hm... doesn't work like that ----
if it works use the <quote> button to get the html code
FortiTude

seems to work now ... at least in internet explorer
disable smilies needs to be checked ...

opera doesn't want to load the movie ...

don't take it the wrong way, but just editing some of the things here, 'cause causing some problems & slow load for many people ~ shadoe_phantom

thanx joripe for the info...
and the compliment :D

FortiTude can u explain how u did that or send a text file to my email adress witht he code on it or something so i can learn from it.

thanx for the trouble making this work :D

let's try now if qoute , php or code showsit correct that you can copy and paste it
--> php is the right one
PHP:
<object classid="clsid:A27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,29,0" width="250" height="75">
<param name="movie" value="http://free.hostultra.com/~sundrak/suncdr.swf">
<embed src="http://free.hostultra.com/~sundrak/suncdr.swf" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="250" height="75">
</embed></object>
FortiTude

don't use the codebase-part! once is enough (used already by FortiTude in his flash code), otherwise you will be prompted several times to install the plugin!

thanx for the info FortiTude :D

php what kinda flash file u posted anyway, it doesnt even load
just delete the flash part man.....

@sundrak:
works on my computer. how about updating your player

@FortiTude: I got the installer message prior to posting my swf, so don't make me responsible. that's your codebase part that prompts for plugin install.

i posted sundrak's flash and i didn't get any installing message, but when you posted yours i got the installer thing, i think my player is new enough to view the one but not new enough to view yours... i'll update, it even installs something short everytime i open this thread and then asks for a reboot , perhaps i should do that ...
FortiTude

ps: the codebase just tells the browser where to get the player if doesn't have the right one
in my opera both flashs don't work so i don't have a prob with it

I did get the install message as well :)
I am not sure, what caused this error, but yeah, please try to find it ..
Personally I think using Flash in signatures is NOT a good idea. But We do allow animated gif, so I think that is okay as well, but please do not overdo it ...
Keep them small and simple, as yours is, SUNDrak

Thanks :)
