Many sites offer free tools to check your firewall effectiveness, like www.securewall.co.uk or www.grc.com/default.htm etc.
Seems that all of them is bullshit, Mr Gipson is a charlatan, read on:

However, best way to test your firewall is to get a friend on Linux to nmap you, more on this one:
