Firewall Question Part 2

I have bullet proof ftp server,serv-u, and zonealarm installed. I gave both servers full inbound, outbound, and server rights and they still won't let anyone connect. Of course once zonealarm is shutdown they both work fine. But my objective is to get them working behind the firewall. Thanx for tha help.

Normal serv-u is working fine with zonealarm but to be sour check your internet and Trusted zone security!
Are you using the firewall from XP too? If yes you have to disable it!

Sorry about that, I meant that I tried both of those severs and none of them worked inside of ZA. I don't wan't them both running, I was just hoping at least one would work. I tried all the things they say to do if your behind a proxy or firewall and it still didn't work. So pokopiko tell me how you got it to work behind kerio. I looked a little into kerio when I got fed up with ZA. Can you actually set the port on it that you want open?

Blane well you got ZA installed but many have jumped to Kerio but if I were you I'll give Kerio a go man you want look back.
Last ZA I used was 2 series.

i find sometimes the same problems with kerio. when someone tries to connect to your ftp you will get a popup message asking if you want to allow the transfer. once you create a rule and allow it the transfer will take place.

Thanx MurderOne, Just installed kerio and will be trying it out today. I already noticed in the first few seconds of using it that it asks you if you want to allow inbound hits that I got. Looks like this is going to work fine.
