Finally PCI-Express support for AMD64 bit!

The famous chipset builder Via has released it's K8T890 chip that brings PCI Express to the AMD64 bit platform......
Abit and Gigabyte jumped already on the bandwagon with respectively the Abit AX8 and the Gigabyte GA-K8VT890G-939.
Both companies are well known for their quality motherboards, but while Abit decided to concentrate on PCI-Express only,Gigabyte included the well known AGP slot,so that people are not forced to replace their expensive videocard.
Now when will the first motherboard be released that contains Nvidia's Nforce 4 chip for the AMD platform????

Me needs first a couple of 64-bit apllications - without them a 64- bit mobo is of no use. So far I have encountered a couple of 64-bit apps over the whole internet, and one of them is for *nix.

You Mean Like Windows XP PRO 64 Bit Edition..
What You Mean By *nix.

So What Your Saying Is 64Bit Application Should Be Used..
What About Games There Not 64Bit

I prefer my FIC (or I'd have another Abit) mb. Bad mojo with ASUS, won't have another personally. Have the free 365day WinXP Pro, but it runs regular WinXP Pro (32) faster than my older AMD XP chips, so I am ready (plus the NX bit in SP2 for XP is now active).
