Hello all. I hope everyone is doing fine. As always, the help on this board is first rate and top notch, so this is where I turn for some good advice.
The annoying problem I keep having with some of my burned DVD movies is the picture gets very "choppy" or "studderey" when there is movement or action in the movie. For still scenes, the picture is great but when movement comes along, its pretty annoying. I was wondering if there were any settings I could tweak in DVD2SVCD to fix this when I convert my divx/xvid rip.
By the way, I use DVD2SVCD to convert my divx/xvid rip (as per the tutorials), then I use TMpeg DVD author to author and burn my DVD-R.

ANY help would be great!

Have you checked the AVI in the same places that have problems in the dvd? Remember the old saying, garbage in = garbage out.

Are you using the D2SRoBa plugin as per the recent updated Tute ? If not I'd suggest you give it a try.

Yes CM..it may be the old garbage in = garbage out. I just quickly checked the .avi before conversion....it didnt look bad at all..was the standard 750mb dvix rip. I will check it out to make sure.
I don't think I am using the D2SRoBa plug-in as it has been a while since I have visited. What exactly does it do and could you point in the right direction to that tute? Thanks CM, you are a gentleman and a scholar!
