Film Lenght - File Size.. Confused

Hi All. Just wondering if anyone can help me out with this:-

Ive got 2 dvd films (lets call them A & B)

(A) has a running time of 90mins and has been ripped to my HD and everthing stripped using ifoedit, and has a file size approx 4gig, which is fine and has been burned to a blank dvd-r.

(B) also has a running time of 90mins and has been ripped to my HD and stripped using ifoedit, but has a file size of 4.91 gig.

What would cause the difference is the file sizes, when the running time is the same, and both been stripped to the bare minimum ?

Is there any easy way to chop the credits off the last vob file to reduce its physical size to fit it onto a blank dvd-r ? and what would be the best software to use ?

Any help or info would be greatly received, in the mean time Ill keep doing some more digging to try and work this one out myself.

Thanks........ Regs Bazza :)

Hey mate ... maybe be they r encoded @ different bitrates ... this causes the movie to get bigger or smaller ;)

btw. there is an easy way to chop the credits ... use VobSplitter (somewhere on doom9/downloadsection)
but it will not free 500 MB ...

if it is still to big ... u have to transcode the movie + author it again ...
