file is not formated to burn

plz plz someone help ive download sum films of the net i can watch them fine on windows media playa but wen i try to burn it says this file is not formated to burn wat does this mean ive had the cd rw 2 weeeks n still aint got no where

what format is the file in .mpeg .avi ??...what are you using (software) to burn the file with....what brand is your CDRW....provide some of this additional information..so someone can have something to go on...when trying to help you determine whats going on.

im using a artec 16x dvd rw the movie im trying to burn says dvdrip x vid-dvl i dwnload it from kazza watching it on windows media playa n using roxio to burn thnx 4 yr help

Sorry folks House rules...
You do not own the media your trying to backup or burn so there for the thread is now closed...Further more you even state you got it from kazza.
please keep in check with our rules..
All I can say on you problem do a search on the forum and you'll find the info your look for...;)
