Feedback on REALONE PLAYER!

;) Yo crew who's been usin realone player? Well I hear a lot of hipe about dis software & would like some feedback on the play back of dvd's and audio files. I for one never did like real juke box or real player software but still they cum wit dis rolled into one baby! Not lookin to burn usin it. :eek:
Any help is always greatfull.....

Yeah I have tried it RASTABT, caused all sorts of problems for me though. Lost sound in WinAmp & Media Player even after I uninstalled the cr@p too! :mad:

I've never been a big fan of the Real stuff anyways but that was the last straw for me bro. Trouble is so many sites use it and not WMP !

I've got this soft but I haven't started testing it yet either RASTABT. Truth is I'm waiting on feedback by others, cause am afraid it is a big ball of ****! lol. Too much info on its part for it to track things, & I don't like that. I think real player 8 was pretty good, but only for playing real player files (rm), nothing else. You're right though, it looks tempting (though too much like Mac crap), but also too much junk in it. Best thing to do bro is just wait this one out till they release a newer version (if enough people bite & use it).

I was at a warez site earlier today and came across a file named "Realplayer V 9.0 beta"?!?!?! Anybody know anything about this? Or is it just Real One under another name?

ya I noticed real player 9 also & in one of the cracked versions it has it as real-one. My guess is it's a beta version of the real-one player engine. Not all of the stuffings in it yet lol. But I doubt it's any good.

Real9 is real one...:) Btw,im using it realone for 3 months for internet radio(radiostations from home)--much more stable then 8:)

im sorry guys but i need more help!!

thanx for helping me out guys but im new to this and dont know how to use a rar file and the other thing is that i cannot get past the stupid credit card check thing! does anyone know how to get around this?

in other words does anyone know of a way to get the full real player one without going through the real networks site? eg a web address??

Bro search forum 4 winrar links and install winrar..
patch notes r as:

Instructions: 4 RealOne_Player_v6[1].0_Login_Patch

For Windows 9x

extract the file: Index.html and the gif pictures to:

C:\Program Files\Real\RealOne Player\DataCache\Login

replace the existing one.. just some java tricks implemented here to bypass the logging verification and close that Nag Screen. so you'll be able to use it anytime you want without no password or login name. :))


For Windows XP

extract the file: Index.html and the gif pictures to:

c:\Documents and settings\%Username%\userdata\Application data\Real\Realone Player\datacache\login

And over write the files!!

Realone Full MP3 320 kps how

Hi guys plenty of chat about how crappy it is
I used to used realplayer 8 and wonder if to go back to it??
Why you ask
Well this is what I used if for
To burn my legal cd's to MP3 at 320 kps and put the master away so as not to get scratched by the rugrats
Well I downloaded this realone and go to do an mp3 at 320 and they want me to pay them $$$$ a month for the privilage
So question how do I get 320 kps out of realone or is it a case of back to realplayer
Tis may asnwer some of the previous dudes thoughts also
Or is there something even better out there for what I want to do
OH nearly forgot Realplayer let me log on and get info for the cd's track title and album title I need this feature too !!

real one is a pain in the ring :( its so slow at setting itself when you load a real video file the video starts before you can access the menu's to view it in fullscreen :( and everytime you run it it tries to access real networks on the net so prime your firewalls ;)

i'm switching back to rp8 (i'll put up with the nag to get real one)
