Fast Foward/ rewind don't work?

I burn a dvd with nero and the Fast foward/rewind stuff don't work. All It dose is pause the screen for like 2 sec and keeps playing the movie. How do i fix this?

It tends to be how it was Authored rather than burnt that affects fastforward/rewind. So what did you use to produce the VIDEO_TS folder ?

I used Super Dvd Creator to make the ts folder and then used dvd lab to put chapters and what not on it.

@Viper_182 super dvd creator may be the problem here as its not a great program

what are you doing here !?

are you ripping a dvd to backup or converting from avi/xvid to dvd

if you are ripping to backup then i suggest using dvddecrypter to rip the disk then process with dvd shrink to get the size down to fit a 4.7gb dvdr

then import the vob files into DVD LAB to make the menus etc

I know thats what I would use if i was doing that Viper_1069. But however I'm converting from avi/xvid. So what would I do in this case?

use DVD2SVCD to make your xvid to mpeg2 or dvd and then create chapters with DVDLAB

I dunno about DVD2SVCD. I've tryed using it in the past to make (S)VCD's but with no succuss. It Was always somthing keeping me from getting the job done. What about TMPGEnc? Could I use that?

you could but from my usage its slower than dvd2svcd with cce !?

Well i converted an xvid to mp2 and it only took like an hour and a half i think. Did really good. However When I put it in my ps2 it was good and clear on my tv but when I brought it to my girls house it was bright i dunno why it was but after messing with the screen setings it was still noticeable that it was bright.
