Fail to do the right thing

Please anyone can say´me, how to do ? everything
Because i have tryng to copy a origina dvd to a dvd-r and i ca´n´t
do it,
any 1 follow the ideia
1- put the dvd in the drive
2- dvd decrypter iso mode read to disk
3- dvd shrink, or dvd2one to encrypt to 4.7
4- copy image with nero(this part is easy but never tryet burning a dvd)

if anyone has the guts to help me i appreciate
with will be a difficult job

Newbie help

For people new to copying a DVD there is a simple way. First of all, get SmartRipper (http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/smartripper.cfm#download). It is much easier to use than DVD Decrypter if you're new to this. You also need DVD2one and Nero (which you already said you have). Here are the steps:

1- Place DVD in drive
2- Start SmartRipper
3- Select "Files"
4- Select "Select All"
5- At the bottom, select a destination
6- When complete, run DVD2One against the directory where the ripped files are, sending to a new destination directory for the compressed files.
7- Rename the compressed files destination directory "VIDEO_TS".
8- Start Nero
8- If you haven't installed the DVD plugin for Nero go to http://www.nero.com and get it (it costs extra).
10- Start Nero
11- If you see the "Wizard" select "DVD" at the top and select "DVD-Video" as the type of new project.
12- Nero creates a new DVD template with an AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS directory.
13- Click and drag the files from the VIDEO_TS folder where you put the compressed files that DVD2One created to the VIDEO_TS folder in the template.
14- Click "Burn"
15- Sit back and wait about half an hour (depending on machine speed).
16- Your copied DVD is now ready

-OR-

You can rip the original DVD to your hard drive with SmartRipper and get DVDXCopy or DVDXCopy Express, which will do the rest of the job in one click.

Thats fine and is not hard, you really cant get it any more simple than that. But line 2 should read :

2- dvd decrypter FILE mode read ALL files to disk

Just wondered Bertieg, how long does it take you using Dvdshrink on say a 7.0 gig disc (ver 103 and 203)
