I have the patch for F-Prot but do not have the Customer ID.
At one point during installation it asked if I wanted to NOT have the Customer ID and I ignored it. Should I choose not to use the Customer ID or is it possible to get this number?
Read on tforum that you cannot update virus files automatically with this version. But a link, which no longer works, was provided which had a file called F-Prot Updater.exe. The person said you could override the updater.exe in F-Prot dir with the downloaded file and you could then make automatic updates.
I tried this but when I try to override updater.exe I get a pop up which asked for the Customer Id.
Anyone familiar with this problem?
