EZCD5 audio de-sync on DivX CDRs

Hi. I use Easy Cd Creator 5 & 5 Platinum to burn DivXs to CDR but it creates desynched audio/video when i play it off the disc or even copy it back to the HD. Apparently - from roxio messageboards - roxio doesn't ever plan to fix this problem, so i was wondering if anyone can recommend a good solid bulletproof burner for DivXs/AVIs to CDR? I don't really need it for anything other than that cos EZCD5 does a good enough job on everything else. Cheers,

I can't even see how that is even possible. I mean if you are just burning a data CD then how the hell can it screw with an AVI's internal structure? and if it is then how can you possibly use it to burn any other kind of data?

Try Nero or BurnAtOnce.

burnatonce eh? i'll have a look into that.
it is possible dude, i have many cdrs in my bin that'll testify to that, and if you don't believe me take a gander at the many similar threads on the roxio website. apparently its something to do with the way that EZCD transfers the audiostream, encoding it to the wrong frequency AC3 track or something. someone explained it on one of the roxio threads but i didn't understand (hence shabby explanation :D).
Cheers

this may happen if burnt data aint burn correctly.can u chek if ur burnt cds with ezcd have errors?chek it with nero cd speed(if i'm not mistaken) or cd check

dez93_2000: Celtic_Druid is right, this thing is simply IMPOSSIBLE to happen, so check your sourcefiles, the prob must be there... BTW that does not mean that I use EZCD Cremator, I consider it being just about the worst burning program ever, but EVEN Cremator cannot do such harm when burning sound files.

If it is true then it means that Roxio did it on purpose. When burning data the program should not know or care if it is an AVI, bunch of jpg's, zips, a fat pdf or whatever.

If this is true then it means that the program is checking for AVI's and then screwing with them.

Either that or you are talking about converting AVI's and not just burning them as you original said. If so then BurnAtOnce isn't going to be of much use and I would suggest looking in the tutorial section for info on converting AVI's to (S)VCD.
