Exact audio copy problem

This soft worked fine for my, but sudendly I can't decompress mp3. I have the 0.94b version with lame 3.93 encoder. I can compress without any problem, but when I try to compress I have some messages, like this

unhundled exception
at 0059934C -> ACCES_VIOLATION

or this

unhundled exception
at 00599305

After that the program get freezed (not windows)


How can I fix this???

EAC is a very easy install: maybe you should try uninstalling the program, rebooting, removing registry entries with an application like JV16 Powertools, and then reinstalling the latest version of EAC with the latest Lame codec.

If that doesn't fix your problem, it ought to eliminate a host of issues as causes of the problem.

I found the problem, just get the answer in the EAC forum.
That was I found
"Usually this error occurs when not using the ASPI interface of Adaptec. So try at first to install it on your computer. When you use Windows NT/2000, the native SCSI interface could also make some problems, so also install the Adaptec interface in that case.
Second, it has also happened that an illegal audio codec let EAC crash on enumerating all audio codecs. In that case try to disable (not deinstall) each codec and try again, you could enable the codecs then again piece for piece to find out which one causes the problem"

In my case the problem was with vorbis codecs, once disabled the problem was gone.

How to know what codec may be giving problems?
Just go to system properties / Multimedia and look at the installed Codecs. If there is somewhere a LAME codec, right click on it => Properties and select "Do not use Codec"...

..and you should use lame 3.92 or Dibrom's version of Lame 3.90.2.
3.93 is a lame lame version.

YES,Im still on 3.90.2 and its still most recomended version from people who test it daily on hydrogen audio---about aspi drop nero aspi in eac folder or install asapi--or install aspi4.60-1021,and youre good to go!!
