error "out of memory"

I have been running Dvdstripper last night and this morning.

Had this happen to me a couple of times last night and now it happens every time I try to "process ".
Happens probably just as the program is about to start Ifoedit. "out of memory error 7"

I have plenty of memory and no other programs going and have tried reboot etc.
Can run Ifoedit as well as Dvdstripper at same time as well.
Also I have at least 40 gig of hard drive space left.

Another question I am trying to process Romper Stomper and when I removed menus what should happen if i try to go where the menu previously was.
Should I get a blank screen and return to previous menu, when I tried this with PowerDvd of my HD it just stops playing.
Or will it work properly when I have burnt the disc?

Main problem is out of memory error now though.
I did manage to do one disc Matrix Reloaded , worked great but now I'm stumped.

Thanx

Are you using the final release?

I ask this because I too was getting the same warning message running v79 but everything has been fine for me on 2 Win XP Pro systems with v1 final release.

Yep well I assume its fianl release got it yesteday and reg'd it then.

Worked for a while but then it started to play up, I'm using WinXP too.

Won't work at all ATM

Thanx

the menu removal issue should be answered in the guide. I need to check

I do not recommend you remove anything that needs user input to get you from putting in the DVD to playing the actual movie

if you remove the menu it will just seem to hang as it would normally be waiting for user input to proceed. If you ever come across this just simply press MENU or TITLE and you will return to the main menu

I will come back to your out of memory issue as soon as I can but what version is it?

I only sent out the final releases earlier today, maybe you have an older version if you got yours yesterday (time difference maybe, it's 11.54pm now)

cheers

My version is a final release.

What I meant by the menus is if I remove say a menu for biographies then when I select biographies in main menu what should happen.

it will hang if the content is removed and just display the black screen

if the image is a still and only small in size it probably better you leave bit in but like I said pressing MENU or TITLE will get you back to the menu :)

Any info on my problem yet?
Hi circuit.

the "out of memory" Problem is currently examined
and tried to reproduce, it might take a while before
the problem is located since the error hasnt occured so
far for any1 else, but it is looked into.

Greetnx

Some more info

I have tried to do a couple of more movies now and seems so far that it only happens with Romper Stomper R4.

I am in Australia so I don't know if you will be able to try it on another version.
Other thing I have noticed is that there is a large file at the start of the menu file list which doesnt seem to have video or audio.

if you hear no audio, this means that the 1st audio stream in the VOB is either missing or do not contain any information and yours is probably the latter :)

this is how sometimes you will hear other soundtracks instead of the actual movie soundtrack

during playback the audio should be fine if it does have one :)

now added into Beta along with a few other fixes and added features

changed some of the processing code to hopefully fix the "out of memory error 7" - Bug that was reported by circuit

please people, don't start asking when it will be released, this is just to show we are updating and it will be released when it's been fully tested as we don't want people complaining it doesn't work
