error in nero : Block address failed? *help*

hi guys

i am trying to burn the japanese version of the ring which i reencoded with dvd2SVCD, when i try to burn it in nero, it burns it 100% but after that it says 'Sony dru500 block address failed' . I can't figure out whether if theres something wrong with the actual file or my writer? i have tried it 3 times using different speeds without any success, i have run out of blanks so can't try to see whether it is the file or my writer.
Anybody have any ideas meanwhile? until i get hold of some blanks tomorrow.

No its not playable. I tried using a rewritable + dvd and that one worked fine.
Anyways! i have sorted it out now. I started having these problems when i installed the new version 8 of Instant Copy. So i did a system restore and set it to prior to installing instant copy and it seems to have done the trick. dvds are burning fine again. Looks like it was conflicting with nero.
