ERROR 1311 Source file not found E:\Ghost\data cab

 okay, so im lost and have no other ideas...i caught bug recently and unfortunately Norton Antivirus was the first program it attacked. I was somehow able to remove virus and at the same time uninstalled Norton Systemworks so that there would be no threat of virus being hidden in program...Ran Systemec's online scanner and no viruses were detected on my system...However, when I try to install the Systemworks program, i get the above message and can't install the whole program. My computer aslo seems to think that i have some of the package software installed, but i really dont. i try to remove program/uninstall/delete all files pertaining to this program and all results dead end bad!! HELP ME FIX THIS PROBLEM GUYS!!!!!!! I have no idea what to do and i dont wanna pay systemec or microsoft any amount of money for something simple like this???
Thanks.
James

1. What is Systemec?
2. Put your Systemworks CD in your e:/drive, not any other one, and then try to run setup again.
3. Personally i would not be sad if I was unable to install Systemworks- rather the opposite.
4. Once you've paid to buy Systemworks you won't have to pay for such a support question. While not sure if they will care to reply, they will certainly not charge you for a second time for that!
5. You didn't really have to post this one three times to get an answer.

The Error 1311 is issued by the windows installer. It means that w2k has the cd rom access restricted to the currently logged on user for this specific installation. Even you're logged in as administrator there is no option where you can deactivate this.

The solution from microsoft for this issue is to copy the entire content from the cd to a local or mapped network harddrive and launch the installation from there.

Information available in the MSKB article no. Q325076 .
without paying anything ...
