Erasing problem

Hi

I use DVD RW for trying things out. I have just ripped, (DVD Decrypter,)shrunk, (DVD Shrink) and burned, (DVD Shrink).

I now want to use the DVD RW again, but when I try to erase, using Nero 5.5.10.56, I am getting a message that the DVD is not rewritable.

Anyone any ideas how to get around this so that I can erase the disk?

Eject the disk, and then close back the tray holding down the left shift key (so disabling AIN). Does it work now? If it doesn't, try Alcohol 120% ticking in the "always erase" box, or pro-DVD (commandline) using the --force switch.

Have solved the problem, thanks. I downloaded the trial version of Nero 6.0 and that worked OK. Haven't tried the old version I have.
