encode movies while watching it

Hi Everycody
I want to know if there is a program that encodes my video files while watching it?I mean when I watch the movie through the program and HEAR the voice in the same time the program is working and encoding the movie

Maybe thats possible one day when we all have 3 or 4gHz CPU's but at the moment, making a DVD rip into a VCD or SVCD is not possible in real time, therefore no audio is ever played while processing. Besides this would slow the processing down consiferably as well.

You can capture in real time, however. Then you get Video & Audio but the quality results are no where near that of a true DVD rip.
