Elby Check message

I have uninstalled CloneCD 4 from my system but now when I boot up I get a message ELBY CHECK - CDI0 not running. I have noticed that Elbycheck is in my satrtup list and can uncheck it, but can I remove it all together ?
System: WinXP Pro

Install startup control panel from www.mlin.net (very useful for locking trojans out, BTW) and untick the cloneCD checker from running at startup. Of course there are other solutions, but this one is also handy for other TSR applications.

...or Start-->Run-->msconfig and in the StartUp field uncheck the "ElbyCheck" entry, Reboot.
