eDonkey sometimes does this - especially when it has found some corruption in a part of the file. One solution is to pause the download and then resume. Another is to shut down the program and then restart and resume the download. Eventually the download should complete.
i use mldonkey on linux but got similar issues i just let it coninue downloading some files almost got up to 200 % but then finished and worked fine !
so just let em go on ...
