I'm Really Starting To Like This Proggy:D :D
I know what you mean m8. :D

Can't remember the last time I ever used the mighty DVD2SVCD, I am that happy with the results of Eazy VCD! I should be getting a "Gold Card" too from Blockbusters as I must be their best customer right now! LMAO :D :p :D

It really is that easy m8! Once you have chosen your output folder, set the size of CDR you will be burning too then that's it. You can change quite a few more settings in the latest version, but for the basic setup it's just one click from start to finish once you have selected the output folder and disc size! :D

Even ChickenMan has given it his seal of approval. ;)

In fact I find my local libraries the best bet as they charge £3 per DVD for a whole week!

Just to let you know the shut down pc option doesn't work very well as you have to press a message before it shut's down.

Yep sure do, and a tutorial would be so small and simple its not woth writting one really. The program is so darn simple to use and gives excellent results as well.

The local Blockbuster have 7 DVD's for a week for AU$5.50 (about £2). Libraries are Free !

ChickenMan,
Is VCD format in Australia popular (black market)? Only reason I ask is because SVCD format video quality far more superior than VCD. I live in the USA and people here in my hometown prefer SVCD.

Only 50% of people I know can play svcd. Out of them only about 75% can play ALL svcds correctly.
So while svcd is a superior format, it is not much use if you cant play it. ;)

A friend of mine has a dv-vcr . he takes his tapes back home and transfers them to svcd and plays them on my standalone DVDplayer ,
the results are realy quite amasing. I would recomend anybody to use this method of archiving film

VCD's or SVCD have not been popular here in Aust, VHS tape has been the main movie format. However, since the introduction in the last couple of years of cheap Made in China DVD Players, there has been quite a large lift of VCD Trading. Most have ended up moving away from SVCD (not me!) because most cant play them all properly or not at all. Just to many problems and SVCD a bit more tricky to pruduce than VCD and you need a very good PC to make them in any resonable time as well. Personly I trade to the US or UK for SVCD's, not a lot available locally.
