This is the first time that I have used VCDEasy and all I can say is wow, from what I can see it is a great little program and there seems to be alot that you can do with it.
My problem is when I go to burn the disk it throws an error at me saying can't find driver for my ASUS CDRW. Now I set this up with the help of chickenman's tutorial,
[CDRDAO Disk Info]
Cdrdao version 1.1.7
ASPI: C:\WINDOWS\System32\WnAspi32.dll
1,1,0: ASUS CRW-4816A Rev: 1.0
ERROR: No driver found for 'ASUS CRW-4816A' (Use "Force Driver" in the "CDRDAO settings" page to set a CDRDAO driver manually)
ERROR: Cannot setup device 1,1,0.
Now chickenmans tutorial said the following:
1. Run VCDEasy and we need to set it up for your burner. Click on Settings icon then CDRDAO tab. Locate your CD writer, then select the Write Speed to be 4x maximum for older 8x or 12x burners. Select 8x or 12x for late model 24x or faster burners. For Force Driver, if your burner is not in the short list, select generic-mmc. Change the other settings if you wish. This only needs to be done the first time you run VCDEasy.
This I did and the CDRW was on the short list, I then went to go and it did not work. So the next thing I did was set the force driver to generic-mmc and I got the same error message as above. Where have I gone wrong and where do I fix it.
It is the new VCDEasy by the way if that helps.
Thanks for your time
