Easy CD-DA Extractor 4.72 and DAE

Hey guys, I have installed the Easy CD-DA Extractor 4.72 on my PC and when i ripped an audio CD into MP3, the speed was 2.78X

Then, I remembered that it's best to use the Digital Out function of my CD-ROM and that's what i did. I connected Digital Out with Digital In on my SBLive but still, the program ripped at the same speed.

Why is that? Easy CD-DA has even a toolbar for DAE options but it doesn't say anywhere how to enable this function.

Any ideas guys??? Cause I have to rip about 1200 cd's for my pub.
You can suggest me another program for ripping that will definately use DAE and I would be able to choose the bitrate of my mp3's

2.7x is a good speed?

Sorry about double posting but i didn't know in which folder i should posted it at first place.

As for the speed, 2.78 is not good at all. So, what's the point of having DAE?? I thought that DAE is much faster and more reliable to use. Or, is it not?
