Just wondering if anyone has tried the new version yet, I have done 2 movies today Spaceballs and The Crow both came out great but was wondering if anyone has tried the full movie function yet?

If it now does the full dvd, what if anything does dvdxcopy gold do that xpress cannot?

Gold lets you split or shrink doesn't it? xPress can't split.

i do hope someone could help me please, because this is
doing my head in.
this happen,s everytime with each version.
when i install this program, i reboot as said.
i am then asked to select my dvd burner.
it,s listed as sony dru 500ax ( scsi )
my burner is a eide model.
it dooes not list as a eide burner.
when using the program, reading is not a problem,
the big annoying problem is when it comes to
burning on my sony burner, the program stops responding
my burner does not wan,t to work sometimes the screen
goes white.
is the problem caused by the program reading the sony
as a scsi model, not a eide.
if so how do i overcome this.
can somebody please please help.

DVD X press 3.0 works great
My only problem was on the first disk I didn't click the "entire disk" button and got a weird 7 minute "cartoon" of the crash scene from Behind Enemy Lines.
SInce then I have pressed it and get all menus, languages and features.

I have just done a back up of my Lord Of The Rings
DVDXCopy Xpress 3.0 Works great all fetures r there and no lose in Picture or sound realy great prog
Ah only one problem i don't like is the 321Studios screen saying this is a back up or what ever it said did not take much notice of it lol

Thanks for that guys, Ive done around 80 DVD's with the program ranging from Star Trek the next generation box collection to Lord of the rings and think it is a great program. There is some loss of picture quality but it depends on the length of the movie I have found.
I did insomnia full 1:1 backup and got perfect results, but my Green Mile which is over 3 hours has some pixalation in the darker areas of the movie.
I have found that the more they update the program the better the finished results are. I did movie only of Red Dragon and it was amazing with 3.0.1 but not as good when I did it with 2.5.0.
I still have to try CloneDVD coupled with anyDVD yet but Im hoping that the quality will be as good.

I would say try it on a DVD-RW so you don't wast anything, I did.

I might do that , try it on a DVDRW, and see how it looks.Because I'm running really low on DVD-R's.
