Dvdshrink, discjuggler, nero drama's

Hi Guys,

long time no speak...

I have been using DVDshrink to rip, nero for first burn and discjuggler there after. i am pretty sure my settings are all fine (not so sure with shrink and DJ)
but i have been having big drama's.

i run off a movie ie: Finding Nemo... it might work fine in my standalone, wont work in a mates, maybe wont even read properly in power dvd in pc god knows cause every one i do is different. I know it is not the standalones as mates etc all have played others before and i have a fair idea of what works and doesn't.

there is just no common pattern here except that at random they wont work. I gave one to a mate the other day and it wouldn't recognise in his standalone or pc, got it back and it worked fine in both of mine, checked it at another mates place and it read on standalone but not in pc what's up with this???

All help would be greatly appreciated my specs etc should be in my sig.

PS if Chickenman has a better setup for this with some kind of tute that would be great (without going back to CCE trying not to let that happen!!)

BTW Chickenman surely sits at the right hand of GOD Seems to have in the psat anyway

Works in some not in others is usually a media problem

yep this i Guessed, But im using Ritek G04 printables and have had nothing but success with G04's in the past i believe they are the media of choice for those on a budget!!

I noticed your using DVD Shrink 3.14 Not sure if you new but DVD Shrink 3.17 has been out for a while now.

yep i use them try burning with another proggie (I use Record Now Max)

or are you talking first burn??

chickenman swears by the nero model i have in his tutes for the basis that they will play in nearly all standalones?

may give new shrink a go!
