hello all
can some 1 help me with dvdeo it will only rip 10 min of the film so i cant go and do the rest of it

Not familiar with the software.Are you trying to rip a copy protected dvd?Is this software supposed to remove the protection?

There might be better alternatives,what exactly does Dvdeo do .....Dvd to vcd?

Yep, DVD to VCD woody.

I used this some time ago and to be honest the output quality was to put it mildly awful.

You would be much better off using Eazy VCD m8 which is easy to use and is more or less a one click solution. The results are top notch too!
