Thanks m8, but until they update their Demo version, its a bit hard to test or verify any of their claims.
Exactly!

The amount of times I get asked at the CDRG "Is DVD95 copy any good?" is unreal. My answer is of course always "How the hell should I know?"

Therin lies my point, they don't know because they are not daft enough to shell out for software they cannot try. I also am not dumb enough to do such either. They can go on saying anything they like about how good their product is, why they could even say it made ice cream and walked the dog for you and we would not know if it was true or not.

This may look like I'm having a pop at the DVD95 copy team, and yes you would be right in that. If their product is as good as they say then they are losing out on thousands of sales because they do not offer a demo of the actual product they sell. Stupid, just plain stupid IMO. After trying the demo of DVD2one I could not get my credit card out quick enough to pay for it I was that impressed! Yes, I could have simply found a cracked .exe on the web or a working serial very easily. But when somebody put's together a piece of amazing software that works and don't charge the earth for it people pay, they don't even mind paying either. ;)

Yes, if DVD95 released a demo of their software then within a day a cracked copy would be floating around on many warez sites, of course it would, but the amount of money from lost sales they must be losing out on for my reasons stated above must be quite substansial.

So DVD95 copy team, what are you most interested in? Stopping the pirates full stop, which never works, or making great software and a bundle of money at the same time?

Very good point Laz.
I agree with this point or view.
It's have double meaning of the dvd95copy team.
If this program is so good that they say a doubt that.
It must more be done to develop.
That this proggy is better than below named programs , than is my answer is no.
It's faster but the quality of the film is a litle bit shaky.
Not much but a very litle bit.
But i can tell you that dvd95copy is a good program.
But that is dvd2one and dvdxcopy and ic7 2!
But my experience is that if you want a good quality use than ic7
it takes longer time but gives you the best results.
Thats my conclusion and opinion.

There are no shortage of people buying dvd95copy.
Its a good program of its type, as is dvd20ne and Instant Copy.
The author has the right to market his software in any way he pleases.
I dont blame anyone for wanting to try it first, but thats his decision.
It has gone through many stages of development and is now a definate competitor in that market.
I use the program and it works fine.

Hello daveml your right to say that author have the right to market any way he pleased.
But you don't buy a car if you don't have a ride with it.
Thats here the question.
Or you must this program tested by any legal forums or magazines.
And a full demo with less options.
It's make than dvd95copy a strong program that people will buy!
The knife cuts at both sides.
The money get to the firm and makes more money free for development of this good program that y early mentioned!

I don't know much about this software. It does seem to work well for most people.I think it is coded to integrate with your PC hardware as piracy prevention.

That said,a timed demo might help people to decide if this software is for them.Just a thought.:)

The reason why the first demo was not updated was to stop people using dvd2one with the demo to make fully functional 1:1 copies.
Once the author has found away to protect his demo he will release an uptodate one.
But we all know a timed fully functional demo is usually cracked within minutes. ;)

Exactly m8, so what is the point of not releasing the actual version for a demo? We all know that no matter how much you try and protect something it will be cracked no question. At least by launching a demo you are then taking it to a far higher percentage of people and that higher percentage of users happy with the demo would bring much more money in.

Yes I agree it is up to the author as it's his baby, just seems plain daft to me that's all.

JM2C :)

It would seem commercial suicide................
But it is selling well.
There are probably more users of instant copy and dvd2one, but probably not that many more legal owners.
While some of us support authors of new programs, the vast majority of people will never buy a program if there is a ripped version out there.
This maybe just his way of pissing off the warez community out there , but I dont know for sure.
He seems happy with sales and feedback, so something must be working fine.
