DVD2svcd

Question i used dvd2svcd for my divx file to make svcd, everthing wen't well but on playback the sound was like in slow motion, the video fine??? Anyone have ideas!

Was the slow audio playback on the PC (what software used) or your DVD Player ? Are you sure your DVD Player can play SVCD ?

ya it was slow sound playback on both pc and my standalone dvd that plays all my svcds its a Pioneer c503 and my pc use's Windvd.

From the DVD2SVCD folder where it put all the files it made, can you play the Extracted audio, the Encoded.mp2 audio and maybe an intermediate Encoded.wav file. Do any of these have playback problems?

Heres something ChickenMan I Encoded a avi divx with virtualdub useing xvid mpeg 4 codec 1 pass cbr 2016 on the fly from satelite great picture smooth, sound no sync problems, encode with dvd2svcd says original frame rate 15,000 not supported will be adjusted ,when done it is out of sync and the sound again is slow motion ,tried TMPGEnc no problems but took a while longer ,what's up with DVD2SVCD i followed your tutorial is there somethig i'm doing wrong ,i'v used it before from dvd work's great???

Your NOT capturing at the correct frame rate is your problem. PAL MUSt be at 25.000 fps and NTSC at 29.97 fps. If your converting a 15 fps video to SVCD then DVD2SVCD will be converting it to 25 or 29.97 everytime as these are the ONLY 2 standard frame rates for SVCD. This will put the audio out of sync everytime.
