DVD2SVCD Fatal Error when opening ISO File

I installed DVD2SVCD and when i go to the conversion tab and click on the Disc icon to find my DVD ISO file, a window pops up using the program auth_call and it runs a few lines and another little window pops up saying 'analysing video' and then i get the fatal Windows error.

'auth_call.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience........................................'

and that makes the program crash and so i cant read any ISO files from disc. It does work though if i was converting from an AVI file.

Has any one got any ideas?
im new to all this ripping stuff.
I then tried to use Tmpeg and i ripped a dvd but its one long massive mpeg file. How do u split it to 3 cds? i dont think u can using tmpeg.

Any ideas people?

Sorry i mean IFO and not ISO
When i try to rip them to my HD in IFO mode, i get that error message.

Have you ripped the DVD to your HD first with DVD Decrypter or SmartRipper ? I suggest you do that first if you have not. Have a read in Tutorial section about DVD to VCD or SVCD as I assume thats what your making.

As for cuttin the large MPG file, again read the Tutes, it all in there.
